Overview
Once you hire employees and start running payroll, the Kansas Department of Revenue requires you to register as an employer with the state. This registration will generate account IDs used by our Payroll software (powered byGusto), to pay taxes and file returns on your behalf. Collective has a dedicated Employer Registration team that solely works on registering Members with the states to ensure Gusto has all the necessary information required to run payroll and file reports successfully.
Once we’ve completed your Kansas Payroll Tax Registration, you’ll receive an email from Collective containing your registration details.
