If your business is already using Gusto for payroll, please follow these steps to add Collective to your Gusto account. This applies if you have ever started a Gusto account even if you didn't finish setting it up.

Sign in to Gusto as the Primary administrator.

Click the Settings tab.

Click the Admins tab. If you don't see the Admins tab, click Permissions.

Remove all admins associated with other accounting firms before adding Collective to your account. To remove the other admins, click on the admin name you wish to remove. On the next page, at the bottom right, click Remove Role. A pop-up will ask you Are you sure you want to remove this role? Select Yes, remove.

Once you’ve removed all the previous accounting and payroll firm admins, click Add a role.

For Access Level, select Global Admin and click Continue.

For Employment status, select Not a team member. Then select Accountant for the Relationship to your organization field.

Select Other under What will they help you with?.

Enter the following and click Continue.

First Name: Collective

Last Name: Services

Review the information and click Create Role.

Next, you need to transfer the Primary Admin Rights to Collective Services so we can take over the account billing. Click the Admin name that is currently listed as the account owner. (It should be you.)

A window will pop up. Click Change account owner. In a new pop-up window, click the drop-down field under New Account Owner and select Collective Services. Hit Save.
You're done and successfully added Collective to your Gusto account.
