Third-Party Authorization (Gusto) - (IN-Uplink)

To give Gusto the required access that it needs to submit payments and filing to the IN-Department of Workforce Development, please follow the steps listed below:

  1. Sign in to the Uplink portal here.

  2. Once signed in, click “Select” next to your UI Account number. If you don't see the select option, simply click on your account number.

  3. On the next page, find "Manage Users."

  4. Under "External Account Authorizations", click the “Add Agent” button on the right.

  5. Search by using Gusto's Agent Number: 116975, or by the Business Name: ZenPayroll, Inc.

  6. Click edit pencil, next to the word “Next”

  7. On the next page, select Authorization level: Wage Records.

  8. Be sure to add Gusto as an "External Account User" and not as a "Correspondence Agent".

  9. Check the box at the end for approving authorization and click “Submit”.

  10. Save the Confirmation as “UI TPA Confirmation" and upload it to your Collective dashboard.
